On May 28, 2024, in San Diego, California, the body of Cris Eddy Jordanelio was discovered in his apartment under tragic circumstances. The chain of events unfolded when maintenance workers, engaged in routine tasks at a neighboring residence, detected a strong, unpleasant odor coming from Mr. Jordanelio's unit. Concerned about what they had sensed, the workers promptly informed the apartment manager, who in turn contacted emergency services to request a welfare check on the tenant.
