On April 6, 2022, Marketta Simpson, a 34-year-old woman from Saint Louis, Missouri, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Dellwood, a suburb of Saint Louis. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Kroeger Avenue, where police found Simpson inside her car with a gunshot wound to her abdomen. Despite being rushed to a local hospital, she was pronounced dead shortly after her arrival.
