Sebastian Wormington, a 17-year-old from Springfield, Missouri, tragically lost his life on June 6, 2022, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:30 p.m., in the 2600 block of North Grant Avenue. According to the Springfield Police Department, Wormington was shot in the chest and was immediately transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
