On July 9, 2013, 22-year-old Terrance Williams was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Indianapolis. The incident occurred outside the newly opened 16 Park apartment complex on the city's near-north side. Williams was holding a 4-month-old infant at the time of the shooting, but fortunately, the baby was not harmed. Williams was struck in the chest and succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
