In the Baden neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, a burst of gunfire on the evening of August 3, 2022, ended the life of 23-year-old Tijean Bow. The male victim was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at a red light in the 8300 block of Halls Ferry Road at approximately 8:35 p.m. when the fatal encounter occurred. Another vehicle, driven by Alexis Greene, pulled alongside Bow's car.
Two men, identified as Anton Greene and Tahiem Davis, exited their vehicle and unleashed a barrage of shots into the car carrying Bow. Bow was critically injured in the assault and later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle he was in was also critically wounded but survived.
The investigation into the shooting led to the swift identification and arrest of three suspects. Alexis Greene, 21, her brother Anton Greene, 19, and Tahiem Davis, 23, were all taken into custody. Authorities stated that the trio had followed Bow's vehicle from St. Louis County into the city before the ambush. The premeditated nature of the attack resulted in serious charges against all three individuals. They were each charged with first-degree murder, two counts of first-degree assault, and three counts of armed criminal action.
As the case moved through the legal system, there were significant developments. In August 2025, Tahiem Davis, then 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder, armed criminal action, and first-degree assault. He received a 23-year prison sentence for his role in the deadly shooting. Shortly after, in September 2025, Anton Greene, 22, also pleaded guilty to the same charges and was sentenced to 22 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections. The successful prosecutions were highlighted by the Circuit Attorney's Office as a measure of accountability for those who perpetrate gun violence.
