David Leroy Smith Jr., aged 40, tragically lost his life in a shooting incident on August 12, 2022, in Saint Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred at the Sweet Timez Bar located at Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and Union. According to reports, the shooting happened just before 3 a.m. and involved a significant altercation that began inside the bar and spilled outside, resulting in gunfire. Approximately 25 shots were fired during the incident, both inside and outside the bar^1^.
