On August 22, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Everett, Washington, resulting in the deaths of two neighbors, Bryan R. Jenks, 54, and Peter Fickey, 40. The shooting took place in the 2300 block of Virginia Avenue, located in the Riverside neighborhood east of Broadway.
