On the morning of August 19, 2022, law enforcement officers from the St. Louis County Police Department were summoned to a residence in the unincorporated area of west St. Louis County following reports of a violent altercation. The incident occurred in the 10300 block of Tuxford Drive, a residential street where peace was shattered by gunfire in the early hours. At approximately 3:26 a.m., responding units arrived at the scene to discover two individuals suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
