John Whitney, a 65-year-old resident of Hazelwood, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on November 27, 2022. The incident occurred at the Hazelcrest complex in the 7500 block of Hazelcrest Drive. According to reports, Whitney was taking his dog for a walk outside his apartment building when he was shot by someone he did not know.
