Austin Wayne Martell, a 21-year-old resident of Independence, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2022. According to reports, Martell was the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred around midnight in the 800 block of East Pacific Avenue. Independence police responded to a 911 call reporting the incident and found Martell outside a residence with gunshot wounds. Despite receiving medical aid and being transported to a hospital, he succumbed to his injuries.
