In the early morning hours of August 5, 2024, the life of Terrance Sherrils, a 28-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. The events unfolded in a wooded area behind a business off U.S. 40 Highway in Kansas City, Missouri, a place known to be a homeless encampment.
