Mary Elizabeth Breedon, born on November 17, 1929, tragically lost her life on May 16, 1941, in Aurora, Indiana. She was just 11 years old at the time of her death. Mary was one of the victims in a horrific mass murder that took place on the Agrue family farm. The perpetrator of this heinous crime was her uncle, Virginius "Dink" Carter.
