William Makoto "Bill" Doi, aged 65, tragically lost his life on May 14, 1985, in Monterey Park, California. Doi was a victim of the notorious serial killer Richard Ramirez, also known as the "Night Stalker." On that fateful night, Ramirez broke into Doi's home, where he shot and killed him. Doi's wife, Lillie, who had suffered a stroke and was bedridden, was also brutally assaulted by Ramirez.
