In the winter of 1980, a quiet Evansville, Indiana neighborhood was rocked by a brutal crime that claimed the lives of an entire family. On the night of January 14, 30-year-old Theresa Gilligan, her husband Patrick, also 30, and their two young children, 5-year-old Lisa and 4-year-old Gregory, were tragically killed in their home. The family had interrupted a burglary in progress, a fateful encounter that ended in unimaginable violence.
