In the quiet, upscale Chicago suburb of Munster, Indiana, the morning of November 9, 1989, began with a sense of promise for the Levine family. The day was meant to be a celebration, as their son, Mark, was to be sworn in as a lawyer. However, this sense of anticipation was shattered when a man posing as a delivery driver arrived at their home. This man, later identified as Bruce McKinney, was not there to deliver a package, but to execute a brutal plan.
