On November 9, 1989, Donald Levine, a 55-year-old Chicago mall developer and gold-mining speculator, was tragically killed in his Munster, Indiana home. The incident occurred when a gunman, posing as a delivery man, gained entry to the Levine residence. The gunman attacked Donald's son, Mark Levine, by pistol-whipping him, and then proceeded to shoot Donald and his wife, Marsha Levine.
