Mario Martinez, aged 63, tragically lost his life on March 8, 2015, in Munster, Indiana. The incident occurred during a family dispute that escalated into a fatal shooting. Martinez, a resident of Portage, Indiana, was found with a gunshot wound to the head on Linden Avenue. Alongside him was his brother-in-law, Theodore Surma, who was also critically injured with a gunshot wound to the chest. A Glock pistol was discovered near Surma, who was lying in a snowbank.
