Kenneth Eversole, a 47-year-old resident of Indianapolis, was found dead on September 13, 2014. He was discovered lying on a sidewalk under a southside overpass in the Bates-Hendricks neighborhood. Eversole had been shot in the stomach, and police responded after receiving reports of an unconscious individual at the location.
