William Stryker Sircy, a 20-year-old Caucasian male, was fatally shot on the west side of Indianapolis on August 20, 2005. A graduate of Ben Davis High School, where he was a member of the state champion football team, Sircy was engaged to be married. He had a passion for writing lyrics and driving his Chevy Caprice with the Yung Vets 317 Car Club.
On the day of his death, Sircy and some friends went to the 7300 block of Mariner Way to meet with a man with whom he had an ongoing dispute.
The intention of the meeting was to resolve the conflict peacefully. Sircy and the individual, known only by the nickname 'Little Mike,' walked away to speak privately. Some time later, Sircy's friends found him inside a building with three gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was transported to a hospital but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
The case remains unsolved, and no arrests have been made. The person of interest is the man Sircy went to meet, 'Little Mike.' In 2005, he was described as an 18-year-old Black male, approximately 6'1' tall with a thin build and a light to medium complexion. He reportedly had a southern accent and had recently moved to the Indianapolis area, often frequenting the Pebble Point Apartments near I-465 and Crawfordsville Road. Law enforcement has continued to seek information from the public to bring resolution to the case.
