Jerry L. Ross, aged 40, tragically lost his life on July 23, 2006, in Seymour, Indiana. The incident occurred as part of a series of sniper shootings along Interstate 65. On that fateful day, Ross was driving his white pickup truck when he was struck by a bullet fired from an overpass. The shooter, later identified as 18-year-old Zachariah Blanton, used a hunting rifle to target vehicles on the highway.
