Gilbert Engle, a 42-year-old resident of Seymour, Indiana, was tragically shot and killed on April 30, 2015, in his downtown apartment. The incident occurred early in the morning, and Engle died at the scene from a single gunshot wound to the chest. The Jackson County Coroner, Roger Wheeler, confirmed that Engle's death was ruled a homicide.
