Melissa Patrick, aged 32, tragically lost her life on January 1, 2010, in Dekalb, Indiana. The circumstances surrounding her death were deeply distressing and involved a violent altercation. According to court records, Melissa had previously filed for a protective order against her estranged husband, Jason Patrick, on November 25, 2009, citing stalking and threats against her and her children. This protective order was issued on December 1, 2009, and was set to expire on December 1, 2011.
