In the winter of 2014, the life of 23-year-old Julius 'JuJu' Alan Douglas was violently cut short in Indianapolis. On February 1st, he and another man, Carlos Darnell Jefferson Jr., were discovered shot multiple times inside a truck on North Hovey Street. Douglas was a Black male.
