On June 9, 2014, 42-year-old William Clarence Watson, an African American male, was tragically killed in a violent incident on the north side of Indianapolis, Indiana. The shooting occurred late in the evening, with police responding to reports of gunfire around 10:36 p.m. in the 4300 block of Cornelius Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered a chaotic scene involving two victims in close proximity to one another, signaling a targeted attack rather than a random act of violence.
