Death by Force

Gary W. Helman, aged 56, from Cromwell, Indiana, died on August 25, 2014, during a violent confrontation at his home. Helman had a history of violent encounters with law enforcement, which culminated in his death when three bail enforcement agents attempted to serve a felony warrant at his residence. The agents, identified as Daniel Foster, Michael C. Thomas, and Tad Martin, were hired by Barnett’s Bail Bonds to apprehend Helman.
