On a cold February morning in 2015, the life of Amanda Hartley, a 26-year-old woman from Indianapolis, Indiana, was tragically cut short. Her body was discovered in a north side alley on February 10th, the victim of gun violence. The initial discovery launched a homicide investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department as they began the painstaking process of piecing together the events that led to her untimely death.
