Rashaud Lewis, a 16-year-old from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2015. He was shot and killed in a housing complex near Roosevelt College and Career Academy, located in the 2300 block of Harrison Street, less than half a mile from his home. The incident occurred in the evening, and Rashaud was found lying in the grass with a gunshot wound.
