On a tragic day in Rochester, New York, April 30, 2014, Alvin Metcalf Jr., a 29-year-old male, lost his life in a violent dispute. The incident unfolded outside a business located at 85 Lyell Avenue, where an argument over a used car escalated with fatal consequences. Metcalf was shot twice in the upper torso and, despite being rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
