Markus Deon "Stew" Steward, a 24-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on August 12, 2015. He was found with a gunshot wound to the head when Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officers responded to a report of a person possibly shot on the 3400 block of Waterfront Drive. Despite efforts to save him, Steward succumbed to his injuries, marking a devastating loss for his family and community.
