Arles Slaven, aged 49, tragically lost his life on September 15, 2015, in Osceola, Indiana. The incident occurred at a residence on Douglas Road, known to local authorities as a location associated with drug activity. On the night of the incident, Slaven accompanied his friend, Lacy Patton, to the house. Patton intended to retrieve his six-week-old child from the home, which he deemed unsuitable for the infant. The child's mother had allegedly been at the residence to purchase marijuana.
