Damichael D. Forrest, an 18-year-old male, was fatally shot on January 28, 2016, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred on the city's east side, where police responded to a report of a person down in the 3000 block of Eastern Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Forrest lying in the street with an apparent gunshot wound. He was rushed to IU Methodist Hospital in critical condition, but despite the best efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
