In the autumn of 2017, a weekend of violence in Indianapolis claimed the life of Christopher Bowman. On the evening of Saturday, September 30th, he was found shot on the south side of the city. The incident was one of several fatal shootings that occurred in Indianapolis over a short period, contributing to a sense of unease within the community.
