Christopher Bowman, aged 21, was shot and killed on September 30, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred on the south side of the city and was reported as the second homicide that day. Bowman's death was part of an ongoing surge of violence in Indianapolis, which saw numerous gun-related homicides in 2017.
