In the late summer of 2015, the life of 20-year-old Marshawn Frazier was tragically cut short on the streets of Indianapolis. On August 24th, the young man became a victim of gun violence, his death adding to a troubling wave of homicides in the city that year. He was walking in the Butler-Tarkington neighborhood in the middle of the night when he was fatally shot. In the immediate aftermath, his family was left to grieve a future that would never be.
