Isaiah "Zae" Edwards, a 19-year-old from Gary, Indiana, tragically lost his life on June 30, 2016. Isaiah was found dead in a grassy area near East 27th Avenue and Maryland Street in Gary. The Lake County Coroner's Office confirmed that he had been shot to death. Isaiah was a beloved member of his community, remembered for his strong heart and good nature. He was employed as a laborer by CB Construction and had a passion for baseball and football.
