Anthony Owens, a 45-year-old Oakland resident, died on July 17, 2017, due to injuries sustained from an assault the previous day. Owens was found brutally beaten in the 200 block of Hegenberger Road and was immediately hospitalized. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries the following day.
