Ammar Shatnawi, a 36-year-old man, was killed in a violent robbery on the night of January 3, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Working at the Jordan's Fish & Chicken restaurant on the city's east side, Shatnawi and his co-worker, 34-year-old Wesam Sammour, were nearing closing time when two armed individuals stormed the establishment. The suspects, whose images were captured on surveillance footage, were seen leaping over the counter in what police described as a 'takeover-style robbery.'
