In the early morning hours of a cold January day in South Bend, Indiana, the life of 23-year-old Jovan Hobbs was tragically cut short. On January 26, 2017, police were called to the Miami Hills apartment complex on High Street, where they discovered Hobbs inside his apartment, the victim of a fatal shooting. He had sustained a single gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.
