Lance Washington Jr., a 21-year-old resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on March 29, 2017. Lance, who was affectionately known as "L.J.," was a young father with aspirations of becoming a barber. He was shot and killed while sitting in his car in front of a house on the city's east side. The incident occurred in the 4600 block of Pleasant Run Parkway, a location that would later see another unrelated fatal shooting within the same year.
