In the early morning hours of July 6, 2016, the body of 49-year-old Lee Roy Banyon, a male resident of Indianapolis, was discovered in an alley on the city's east side. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene at approximately 7:00 a.m. in the area of 30th and Denny Streets.
