On June 14, 2015, 49-year-old Gerald Walter Darden was shot multiple times on the west side of Indianapolis. Police responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Darden with severe injuries. He later succumbed to his wounds. Investigators launched a homicide investigation and sought the community's help in identifying two men seen in the area at the time of the shooting.
