Oluwadayomi Epenusi, a 66-year-old male, had recently relocated to Indianapolis from Nigeria, where he had served as a pastor. His new life in the United States was tragically cut short one early Saturday morning at an apartment complex situated near 10th Street and I-465 on the city's west side. The quiet of the morning was shattered by the sound of approximately 15 gunshots, as reported by a neighbor who promptly called 911. It is believed the violence erupted during a robbery attempt.
