Daron Johnson, a 14-year-old from Indianapolis, tragically lost his life on June 10, 2018, after being shot at a birthday party in Lawrence, Indiana. The incident occurred at a Lions Club clubhouse on Richardt Avenue, where approximately 70 people were gathered to celebrate a 13-year-old's birthday. As the party was winding down around 10:30 p.m., a fight broke out between two groups, leading to gunfire. Daron was struck in the head and was among five young people injured in the shooting.
