On the evening of February 26, 2020, 18-year-old Zane Lee, a junior at South Spencer High School in Rockport, Indiana, tragically lost his life. Around 8:30 p.m., local authorities responded to reports of gunfire near the intersection of Seminary and South 9th Streets. Upon arrival, they discovered Lee had sustained a gunshot wound. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers and subsequent medical intervention by Spencer County EMS, Lee succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
