Donavan Barnett, an 18-year-old from Indianapolis, Indiana, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2020. On that day, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to a call about a person shot in the 3800 block of N. Post Road around 2:35 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Donavan Barnett in the front seat of a vehicle parked in the parking lot of a gas station.
