Brian Allen "B-Dog" Byrd, aged 31, was killed on February 10, 2009, in Indianapolis, Indiana. His body was discovered at his residence, and the circumstances indicated that it was a homicide. Byrd's death added to a year marked by significant violence in Indianapolis, as law enforcement struggled to address increasing crime rates across the city.
