On May 28, 2020, tragedy struck a residential neighborhood in Muncie, Indiana, when gunfire erupted in the early morning hours. Authorities were alerted to the situation shortly before 5:00 a.m. and dispatched officers to a multi-unit home located at 422 West Howard Street. Upon arrival, first responders discovered a chaotic scene indicating a violent altercation had taken place.
