In the winter of 2022, the life of 28-year-old Erik Joseph Neal Sparks was tragically cut short in Muncie, Indiana. A White / Caucasian male, Sparks was reported missing by his roommate from their residence on the city's southwest side. The search for him came to a grim conclusion on February 8, 2022, when his body was discovered near the Cardinal Greenway, a local trail, by McGalliard Road. An investigation revealed he had been shot multiple times.
