In the early morning hours of May 31, 2020, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, violence erupted in the 500 block of McKinnie Avenue, leaving one man dead and two others wounded. Roosevelt Allen III, a 36-year-old male, was discovered by Fort Wayne Police Department officers with life-threatening injuries from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. An autopsy later confirmed that Allen's death was a homicide caused by the gunshot wounds.
