On August 4, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Lodge Grass, Montana, on the Crow Indian Reservation, resulting in the deaths of 25-year-old Denise Stewart-Nomee, her husband, 27-year-old Leslie "Frank" Nomee Jr., and 30-year-old Nehemiah "Rocko" Brokenrope. The three individuals forcibly entered a residence, leading to a confrontation with the occupants.
