His last known communication was a phone call to his brother, in which he stated he was traveling north on Interstate 49, heading towards Harrisonville, Missouri, for a court hearing. Owens, who was reportedly from the Harrisonville area, had left his father's residence in Miami, Oklahoma, with the intention of attending this legal proceeding ...
