Oluwadayo Epenusi, a 66-year-old Nigerian-born pastor, was shot and killed on May 20, 2017, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred at an apartment complex near 10th Street and I-465 on the city's west side. According to neighbors, multiple gunshots were heard early that morning. Epenusi attempted to return to his apartment but was unable to explain the events to his roommate before succumbing to his injuries at Eskenazi Hospital.
